The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines second chances as an opportunity to try something again after failing one time.
What if you were taught as a child that when you tried something and didn’t receive the outcome you were expecting, it wasn’t considered failing? How different would your life be now? Of course, there is no way to tell for sure however, I suspect mine would look differently.
Childhood is meant to be a time to explore, play, and live carefree. It’s also the time when we are the most impressionable with limited resources for understanding the world around us. If we grew up in an environment where there was chaos, there might have been a lot of unnecessary judgment as well.
As adults, we are responsible for our own well-being which means accepting that we all have a past and it’s our choice to create a beautiful life for ourselves. It requires self-acceptance and compassion for the little child that we once were. It’s an opportunity to have a second chance to create the life we wished for ourselves as little ones. To see our lives through the lens of lessons and experiences vs failures and defeat.
To create a beautiful life, start with your mindset.
Our manifestations first come from our thoughts so it’s important to align yourself with empowering thoughts that lead to empowered action. Surround yourself with people who understand that life is meant to be lived passionately with care. Explore with curiosity the “what ifs” in life. Love yourself enough to give yourself as many second chances as you need. You’re worth it.
